BARN IN PARADISE
This well-weathered barn sits behind an old gas station in Paradise Valley in the Pocono Mountains. I had to get the photo before the structure decides to crumble to the ground. There's not much time left.

HORSE'S MANE
This horse had very coarse hair for the mane and a beautiful coat showing a great textural difference.

GOLDEN MANE
This close-up photo of a horse's mane shows the difference in the texture of the mane and the short, smooth texture of the coat.

A True Work Of "ART"
This goes to show you that you can find ART and Texture everywhere. In this case I found it on a sewer grate.

Gabriel's "Ent"
My four year old Grandson Gabriel saw this photo and screamed "Grandpa saw an ent!" He was very excited since he loves "The Lord of the Rings" and remembers the tree people called "Ents" and the one called "Treebeard". This is a photo of a tree in East Stroudsburg, PA that I was shooting for the texture. When working on it I thought I saw something more and flipped it upside down and this is what was there. I still is interestig for the texture but I love the shape even more. Thank you for the name, Gabriel.

Rusty Hinge
Found on an old garage door in Stroudsburg, PA this hinge and painted door frame are a wonderful example of natural texture.
